Considering it has been nearly 37 years since its first introduction to Ethiopia. The usage of bio gas is not very popular and few people are aware of the benefits of such fuels. According to a survey by the Horn of Africa Regional Environment Center/Network we have about 120 bio gas systems installed in institutions all over Ethiopia.

Two of our most pressing problems driven down altogether by one biogas.

Our household fuel consumption is highly dependent on either petrol or fire woods or coal. Both of which are not sustainable and are costing us a lot both environmentally and monetary. They are also either too expensive or not available for the day to day domestic consumption.
